Offer more incentives to investors, Governor Ndeti tells Govt

Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti has asked the National Government to offer more incentives to investors to prevent relocation to other countries.

Governor Ndeti pointed out that some Investors had relocated to Tanzania in the recent past owing to unfavorable tax regime in Kenya.

The Governor who spoke during the grand opening of Sinoma Roofing Kenya Ltd factory in Lukenya, Mavoko constituency thanked members of Parliament for dropping some of the contentious provisions in the Finance Bill 2024.

The Governor thanked Members of Parliament for dropping the contentious issues in the Finance Bill.

She said the country was still emerging from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and recent floods and there was need to be considerate of the welfare of Kenyan taxpayers.
