Governor Wavinya woos investors to Machakos

Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti has urged more investors to consider Machakos, saying the county has all what it takes to support growth of commercial enterprises.
Speaking during the reopening of Coloho Mall in Athi River Sub-County, Wavinya pointed out that Machakos sits in a strategic position for mega investments, owing to its proximity to the capital city, Nairobi.
“I am excited that Machakos County is at a strategic place for the establishment of a wide range of investment outlets, ranging from housing which makes it “Nairobi’s Bedroom”, manufacturing, agriculture, healthcare, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) as well as Education among others,” she said.
The Governor said her administration was keen on exploiting the available opportunities to attract investors and boost their confidence.
