Niger first team to land in Uganda for CHAN

Niger was the first team to arrive in Uganda on Tuesday, 29th July, for the belated 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) tournament slated for between 2nd and 30th August this year.
Ugandan representatives from the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) and the local organising committee for the CHAN 2024 tournament welcomed Niger’s delegation as it arrived just after 11 a.m.
The West Africans were then driven to Protea Skyz in Naguru, Kampala, where they will be camped through the group stage competition of the tournament.
Niger is pooled in group C with co-hosts Uganda, South Africa, Algeria, and Guinea.
Niger famously known as the Mena will open their CHAN campaign next Monday 4th August against Guinea at the Mandela national stadium Namboole.
