Hearing of Sharon Otieno’s murder case to resume today

The hearing of former Migori Governor Okoth Obado’s murder case in the death of Sharon Otieno is expected to continue today (Wednesday) with his ex-Personal Assistant Michael Oyamo set to testify.
This follows Justice Cecilia Githua’s rejection on Monday of Oyamo’s request to change the order of testimony.
Judge Githua emphasized that it is a legal requirement for the accused to lay the basis of their case first before their witnesses can testify.
Sharon was killed in 2018 while pregnant, in a murder allegedly orchestrated by Obado and his associates.
The accused have denied any involvement in the killing.
