CS Kindiki meets top regional security officials in Baringo

Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki is currently holding a regional security meeting at Loruk, Baringo North Constituency.

The meeting with Rift Valley Regional and Baringo County Security and Intelligence Committees will seek to draw up a plan on how to engage the bandits terrorizing innocent residents.

Kindiki’s visit to the bandit prone region comes after suspected bandits attacked security officers (GSU) who were on a routine patrol a week ago.

They had also attacked a school near the camp before engaging security officers in a shootout. The heavily armed bandits had surrounded the GSU camp from around 10 am with panic gripping Kapindasum village.
