CHAN 2024:Burkina Faso and Mauritania face off in a must win contest

The Stallions of Burkina Faso will go head to head against the Mauribituones from Mauritania in the African Nations Championship group B crucial match on Wednesday evening at the Benjamin Mkapa National Stadium in Dar es Salaam.

2nd placed Mauritani have 4 points from three matches ;winning 1 drawing 1 and losing 1, while Burkinabe will be playing their 3rd match losing 1 and winning 1 and lying 3rd on 3 points.

Mauritania will crush out with any other result apart from a victory while Burkinafaso still stand a last 8 chance even if they pick up a point as they still have one more match against Madagascar to redeem themselves.

Madagascar, currently 2nd last of the group with a point, will play Central African Republic starting 5 PM with both sides hanging by a thread as they stand slim chances of propressing.
