Argentina, France, Colombia and Norway sail through to the FIFA U-20 World Cup quarter-finals

Five-time champions Argentina, France, Colombia and Norway advanced into the FIFA U 20 World Cup last 8 in Chile.

Argentina humiliated Nigeria 4-0 to book a date with Mexico, who ran riot 4-1, against the hosts, Chile, in the knockout stage.

Colombia whipped African champions South Africa 2-1, in another round of 16 fixture on Wednesday night and will face Spain in the quarter-final.

Norway emerged with a 1-0 victory over Paraguay and will play France, who eliminated Japan by the same scoreline.

Two final round of 16 matches will be played on Thursday with Italy facing high flying USA,while Morocco, the only African side remaining in the tournament, will conclude the round when they face Korea Republic.

The quarter-finals will be played between 10th and 13th October before paving the way for the semis on the 15th and 16th of this month,followed by the final on the 20th.
