Security heightened at JKIA ahead of Raila’s body arrival

Kenyans from all walks of life have braved the cold morning weather to gather at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport ahead of the arrival of the body of former Prime Minister Raila Amolo Odinga.
President William Ruto is expected to lead the nation in receiving the body, alongside top government officials, family members, and political leaders from across the divide.
The mood at the airport is somber yet emotional, as mourners and supporters chant Raila’s name, in a show of deep respect and love for the late opposition leader.
Security has been heightened around the airport and major routes leading to Lee Funeral Home, where the body will be taken upon arrival.
