Safaricom reschedules planned system maintenance

Safaricom has rescheduled the planned system maintenance that was to be conducted later Sunday evening to a later date.
In a statement on their X handle, the mobile network operator said it has rescheduled the system maintenance to allow clients to enjoy a worry-free M-PESA Sunday evening from 11PM to 4AM on Monday, noting it is a sport-packed evening.
Tonight, football lovers will be glued to their devices to watch the UEFA European Football Championship finals between Spain and England.
“We hear you, and we value your feedback. The scheduled system maintenance later this evening has been rescheduled to a later date to allow you to enjoy a worry-free M-PESA on this sport-packed evening.“ Noted the statement.
In the earlier statement, Safaricom had noted that during the system maintenance period, access to Lipa na M-PESA, Paybill and Buy Goods services, international Money Transfers (Western Union), M-PESA Global as well as M-PESA App and mySafaricom App will be available intermittently.
All other services were going to be available including calls, data, SMS and other M-PESA services will be available.
