President Ruto defends bold reforms, calls for patience, unity
President William Ruto has hit back at critics who accuse him of overpromising during the 2022 presidential campaigns.
Speaking during a when he joined worshippers at the Africa Inland Church Bomani, Machakos County for the service of the installation of Bishop Benjamin Kalanzo, the Head of State insisted that he remains committed to fulfilling all pre-election pledges and is confident his record will speak for itself before the end of his first term.
He further emphasized that Kenya must embrace bold and sometimes painful decisions to break free from the status quo of minimal progress.
Further, the President urged parents to take an active role in mentoring the youth.
Reaffirming his commitment to national unity, the President assured that his government will uphold equity and fairness in the distribution of public resources.
On healthcare, he issued a stern warning to level 1, 2, and 3 facilities, cautioning them against charging registered patients under the Social Health Authority (SHA).
