President Ruto meets Jubilee MCAs at State House Nakuru

President William Ruto on Thursday met with Jubilee Members of County Assembly (MCAs) at State House Nakuru.
At least 120 Jubilee MCAs were present in the meeting which was also attended by Deputy President Gachagua and UDA Secretary Cleophas Malala.
EALA MP Kanini Kega, nominated MP Sabina Chege and Eldas MP Aden Keyna also graced the early morning meeting.

Jubilee party has been embroiled in wrangles with two factions fighting for the party’s leadership; one led by EALA MP Kanini Kega and the other by former Ndaragwa MP Jeremiah Kioni.
In May 2023, a section of Jubilee elected legislators kicked out former President Uhuru Kenyatta from the party leadership and named Sabina Chege as the new party leader and Kanini Kega as the new Secretary General leading to unending court battles.
The Kega-led faction also resolved to exit the Azimio coalition and has since declared support for President William Ruto and the Kenya Kwanza government.
