A woman was on Sunday arrested in Bungoma West Sub-County after police recovered 154 rolls of bhang during a raid at her home.
The operation was conducted by officers from the National Police Service (NPS) following a tip-off from members of the public.
According to a statement by the NPS, the officers stormed the residence of Beatrice Nekesa Wafula in Nabuloli Village, where the illicit drugs were seized.
The suspect was taken into custody at Sirisia Police Station and is expected to be arraigned at the Sirisia Law Courts.
The recovered exhibits have been secured at the same police facility.
