Mudavadi calls for unity and respect for institutions

Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi has called on Kenyans to uphold the rule of law and utilize established institutions to address their grievances, rather than resorting to divisive rhetoric or disruptive actions.

Speaking during an economic empowerment forum in Kajiado North, Mudavadi emphasized the Kenya Kwanza administration’s unwavering commitment to fostering national unity, promoting economic development, and eliminating negative ethnicity from public discourse.

“The nation must respect the rule of law,” he stated, adding that the government has no room for bad politics or tribalism.

He further urged political leaders to refrain from inflammatory remarks, warning that reckless language only serves to fuel unrest  and weaken national cohesion.

The Prime Cabinet Secretary also warned against tribal and ethnic incitement, urging citizens across the country to embrace unity and brotherhood as pillars of national progress.

“Tribalism is unwarranted. As leaders and citizens, we must be careful with our words. Let us not incite, let us unite,” he said.

The PCS  reminded the public that the country’s stability, peace, and democratic values must never be taken for granted. He called on all Kenyans, especially the youth not to be lured into destructive politics or misinformation-driven protests.

“Kenya is ours, and we should not destroy it,” he cautioned. “Let’s protect it, build it, and pass it on stronger to the next generation.”

As the government continues to implement its Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA), Mudavadi reaffirmed that inclusive growth, economic empowerment, and institutional accountability remain top priorities for the Kenya Kwanza administration.

In his closing remarks, the Prime Cabinet Secretary called on all Kenyans regardless of their background, age, or political affiliation to remain committed to the nation’s development through peaceful  and responsible citizenship.
