MP Kiunjuri calls on central leaders to stop divisive politics

Laikipia East MP Mwangi Kiunjuri has called on leaders from the Mt Kenya region to stop engaging in insults and divisive politics, urging them instead to focus on addressing issues that directly affect citizens.

Speaking during two fundraising events in Nyandarua County, Kiunjuri emphasized the need for unity and development-driven leadership.

Accompanied by Laikipia West MP Wachira Karani and Ol Kalou MP David Kiaraho, Kiunjuri cautioned Nyandarua residents against approaching politics with anger and frustration.

He called for patience, noting that the government needs time to fulfill its promises.

Kiunjuri acknowledged these concerns and highlighted the government’s ongoing efforts to address them, particularly the SHA’s controversial Mean Testing Model.

He noted that the model was currently placing an unfair financial burden on citizens and emphasized the need for adjustments to ensure affordability.
