KQ increases flights to Kisumu ahead of Raila’s burial

Kenya Airways has increased its flights to Kisumu over the weekend ahead of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s burial ceremony on Sunday.
In a statement on X, the national carrier attributed the move to accommodate the high travel demand following a surge in bookings. KQ said it has added two flights on Friday, one on Saturday, and upgraded a second flight to Boeing 737.
On Sunday, flights KQ654 (8:05 am) and KQ671 (7:00 pm) were upgraded to Boeing 737.
In addition, flights KQ 654 and KQ670 were upgraded to Boeing 737 on Monday. KQ promised to ensure a seamless travel during the weekend.
