Kiambu: Mother and child die in Kiambaa landslide

A woman and her child have been killed in a landslide in Cianda in Kiambaa Kiambu County following a heavy downpour.

The husband to the deceased says he returned home to the sad news, though one of the children was rescued from the tragedy.

Area residents now want the national and county governments to intervene and provide those affected by the landslide with alternative shelter.
