Kenya intensifies efforts to tackle TB, Malaria and HIV

The Ministry of Health is intensifying collaborative efforts to accelerate the fight against TB, Malaria, and HIV by strengthening systems that support effective service delivery at the community level.
In a consultative meeting held today with a delegation from the Global Fund, Principal Secretary for Public Health and Professional Standards Mary Muthoni said the Ministry reviewed progress on key health programmes supported by the Fund.
PS Muthoni said the discussions focused on enhancing the efficiency of health commodity procurement, improving health information systems, and scaling up training for front-line healthcare workers.
