Kenya, Egypt reaffirm strategic partnership to boost peace, trade, development

Kenya and Egypt has renewed shared commitment to advancing cooperation on priorities that promote peace, stability, and prosperity across our continent.
Speaking during the celebration of Egypt’s National Day at the Ambassador’s residence in Nairobi, Foreign and Diaspora Affairs Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi underscored the deep and historic bonds between Kenya and Egypt that have expanded opportunities in trade, investment, education, research, technology among other sectors.
The CS noted that Kenya values his dedicated efforts to deepen bilateral relations with Egypt, culminating in milestone engagements such as the signing of the Kenya-Egypt Joint Declaration for a Strategic and Comprehensive Partnership between Presidents William Ruto and Abdel Fattah El-Sisi earlier this year.
“These agreements continue to expand opportunities in trade, investment, education, research, technology, and more, opening doors for both nations to thrive and for our peoples to benefit from closer collaboration.” Mudavadi noted.
Further, Mudavadi took a moment to convey appreciation to the outgoing Egyptian Ambassador to Kenya, Wael Nasreldin Attiya, as he concludes his tour of duty.
