Former Man United Boss Erik ten Hag takes over at Leverkusen

Former Manchester United coach Erik ten Hag has been appointed as the new head coach of Bayer Leverkusen on Monday, the German club has confirmed

Ten Hag is replacing Real Madrid bound Xabi Alonso, who led the club to the 2024/2025 Bundesliga title and the German Cup and was announced on Sunday as Real Madrid Boss.

Alonso is replacing Carol Anchelotti as coach at Real Madrid.

Dutchman Ten Hag left United in October2024, leaving after a largely disappointing two-and-a-half years at the helm although he did win the League Cup and FA Cup in h
