Duale: No shortcut to presidency

Health Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale has castigated opposition politicians saying they are seeking to ascend to power through back door.
Speaking in Kajiado during the launch the Social Health Authority (SHA) and Digital Health Transformation programme claimed selfish politicians are behind the Gen-Zs protests in an attempt to ascend to power.
The President Ruto ally said like any other elected leaders, President Ruto will remain in office until the 2027 polls saying there will be no short cuts to power unless through the ballot.
He insisted the security agencies will protect lives and property in the confinement of the law condemning the loss of lives and destruction of properties witnessed in last week’s protests.
At the same time ,he urged the Kikuyu and Somali communities to support the President Clarion call to unite the country saying the two communities stand to benefit more as they have coexist with almost any other community in the country.
