Drama as Kakamega MCAs block Speaker from accessing premises

Drama ensued at Kakamega County Assembly after a section of MCAs blocked the Speaker James Namatsi from accessing the premises accusing him of bias.

The members blocked the entrance, alleging that the Speaker had defied an order from ODM Secretary-General Edwin Sifuna to replace the Majority Leader in the assembly.

A section of Azimio MCAs have the last three weeks been attempting to effect leadership changes in the Assembly by replacing Phillip Maina with Geoffrey Ondiro as the Majority Leader.
