DP Gachagua to host visiting Somalia PM for talks

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua will host visiting Somalia Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre Tuesday for bilateral talks at his official residence in Karen.
Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre jetted into the country on Monday and was received by Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs Musalia Mudavadi at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
The Somalia PM is in the country for the African Fertilizer and Soil Health Summit in Nairobi.
“The Prime Minister’s visit, along with his delegation, highlights the importance of cross-border cooperation in bolstering agricultural resilience. Our enduring fraternal bond with Somalia is poised to reach even greater heights,” PCS Mudavadi said.
