DP calls for the resignation of NIS DG

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua now wants the National Intelligence Service Director General Nordin Haji to resign.
Speaking in Mombasa Gachagua alleges Haji failed to notify the President on the magnitude of the protests to necessitate appropriate response.
The Deputy President claims the NIS Director General frustrated competent officers in the service and allegedly brought in cronies who have messed up intelligence gathering.
While lauding the President for listening to Kenyans to reject the Finance Bill 2024 Gachagua urged young people to end their protest and organize themselves for meaningful discourse as promised by the Head of State.
