Chad Pollock appointed Visa’s General Manager for East Africa

Visa has appointed Chad Pollock as Cluster Country Manager and Vice President for East Africa.

“We are excited to welcome Chad in his new told and believe that his experience will help us achieve our goal of driving the digitalization of payments and financial inclusion in the region,” said Aida Diarra, Senior Visa President and Head of Sub-Saharan Africa.

Chad previously served as Vice President Head of Global Client strategy and Operations where he successfully spearheaded the development of business and analytics and commercial operations for the digital payment company’s international clients before taking on his new role.

“His appointment is in line with our vision to continue to build solid regional team by molding unique strength and talents with critical business opportunities,” added Diarra.

Chad holds a Bachelor’s Degree in System Engineering and Master of Science in Engineering Management.

He takes over his new role effective immediately.
