Bajaber out as Harambee Stars depart for Morocco

Kenya national men’s soccer team, Harambee Stars, left the country yesterday night for Morocco, where they are set to play two FIFA international friendly matches against Chad on 7th and 10th this month.

Chad will play host to Kenya in the two matches in the tourist city of Marrakech in Morocco.

The team, however, left without the services of the influential Kenya Police FC midfielder Mohammed Bajaber, who was ruled out after sustaining a right thigh injury during training on Tuesday.

Harambee Stars will play against Chad in the two matches as they prepare for the Africa Nations Championships (CHAN), which will be held in Kenya,Uganda and Tanzania from 2nd August this year.

Meanwhile, the three sports Ministers from Uganda,Tanzania and Kenya are set to make a joint major announcement today evening on the CHAN tournament.
