Kenchic Ltd acknowledged by International Poultry Council for pioneering responsible poultry practices

The International chicken Council (IPC) has recognised Kenchic Ltd , top chicken producer in Africa, as the first African business to successfully implement the council’s antimicrobial stewardship standards.

This significant accomplishment demonstrates Kenchic’s steadfast dedication to environmentally friendly methods and ethical chicken farming.

Kenchic Ltd was announced by the IPC along with eighteen other private sector companies that agreed with the council’s antimicrobial use stewardship standards and acknowledged the significance of responsible antimicrobial use.

These ideas were developed as part of the USAID-funded Transformational Strategies for Farm Output Risk Mitigation (TRANSFORM), an initiative headed by Cargill, to prevent the need for antimicrobial usage and, in the event that it is necessary, make sure it is done so in accordance with stewardship principles.

This acknowledgment is proof of our steadfast dedication to ethical chicken farming and sustainable methods. We are glad to be working together with seven other international institutions to fight the pandemic of antibiotic resistance, which is a global concern.

Jim Tozer, Managing Director of Kenchic Ltd., stated, “Our objective is to contribute to a safer, healthier food supply chain for our consumers.”

Six groups and two corporations, representing over 30% of the world’s grill output, have joined forces to limit the use of antibiotics worldwide. The leaders are from Kenya, Brazil, Italy, India, Thailand, Vietnam, and Colombia.

Through the National Antimicrobial Stewardship Programme, Kenchic’s dedication to ethical business practices supports the initiatives of the Ministries of Health and Agriculture and Livestock Development.

In the fight against antimicrobial resistance (AMR), Kenchic’s dedication to ethical behaviour supports the work of the Ministries of Health and Agriculture and Livestock Development via the National Antimicrobial Stewardship Interagency Committee (NASIC). This highlights the value of cooperation for common health goals.

One of the most important issues facing our globe today is AMR, according to Jonathan Mueke, Principal Secretary, State Department for Livestock.

Due to the complexity of the problem, which jeopardises our ability to cure common infections and threatens the advancements made in contemporary medicine, coordinated multisectoral actions at the national and international levels are necessary.

“We acknowledge the broader significance of Kenchic’s efforts in addition to celebrating their achievement,” he continued. Kenchic sets an example for the entire industry by being at the forefront of antimicrobial stewardship.

“We acknowledge the broader significance of Kenchic’s efforts in addition to celebrating their achievement,” he continued. Kenchic sets an example for the entire livestock business by being at the forefront of antimicrobial stewardship. I urge further interested parties to do the same.

A firm conviction in the interdependence of numerous facets of chicken production, including animal welfare, food safety, productivity, and consumer preferences, has served as the foundation for the company’s expansion.

Kenchic’s journey towards ethical and sustainable chicken production has been steered by these values.

“Kenchic’s dedication to responsible poultry production is commendable,” said Annie Kneedler, Chief of Party at USAID transform Cargill, in response to Kenchic’s commendation.

They share the goals of the transform Cargill programme in their dedication to sustainable practises and food safety.

  • King Mohammed VI calls on International Community to help end Israel attacks in Gaza

King Mohammed VI calls on International Community to help end Israel attacks in Gaza

King Mohammed VI of Morocco has called on the international community to intervene and put an end to Israeli army attacks on innocent civilians in the Gaza strip.

Speaking on Saturday in Saudi Arabia, King Mohammed VI, who is also the Chairman of the Arab and Islamic Summit, appealed to other countries around the world to help end Israel’s aggression in Palestine and save the future of the region.

“The Arab and Islamic Summit, held in Saudi Arabia, is facing a continuing armed conflict in the Gaza Strip, resulting in thousands of deaths and destruction.

“Israeli artillery and missiles continue to target defenseless civilians, including children, women, and the elderly, and have destroyed places of worship, hospitals, and camps.” Emphasized by the King

As Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, I call for an awakening of the international community’s conscience to stop the killing of human beings and work together to achieve four urgent priorities: bringing about immediate de-escalation, ensuring civilian protection, allowing for steady humanitarian aid delivery, and paving the way for a political settlement of the Palestinian question.

The crisis is compounded by Israel’s aggression against helpless civilians and the silence of the international community.

The meeting unanimously reiterated the need to end the ongoing attacks against the innocent population in Palestine.

“It is incumbent on the international community and all of us to ensure the future of the region and its people is not left in the hands of those engaging in outbidding tactics.

There is no alternative to genuine peace in the region: an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, strengthening the Palestinian Authority under President Mahmoud Abbas Abu Mazen, and establishing mechanisms for sustainable regional security based on respect for international law and agreed international resolutions.” added King Mohammed VI.

Resolving this crisis requires stopping the aggression against Al-Quds Al-Sharif and ending the provocations that hurt the feelings of more than a billion Muslims.

The speaker has always sought to draw attention to the seriousness of these Israeli practices and their dire consequences for security and stability in the entire region.

They are working on the ground to protect the Holy City of Jerusalem as a shared heritage and symbol of mutual respect.

This comes as Israel’s air strikes continued in Gaza for 38 consecutive days, creating an acute shortage of humanitarian needs such as food, water, and medicine.

So far, over 15,000 Palestinians have died, while over 30,000 have been left homeless as a result of the war between Hamas and the Israeli army.

Karan and Tauseef rose through the ranks to victory in Rwanda, Kenya (Equator), Burundi, and Zambia.

However, the Kenyan duo chose to skip the Bandama Rallye and the Pearl of Africa Uganda Rally, forcing them to begin on a catch-up voyage to reclaim the coveted crown that went to Zambian Gomes the previous season.

Behind Patel and Khan’s calm and steady demeanor throughout the season was an undercurrent of enthusiasm that broke into a jubilant stream during the prize-giving event in Sao Hill Mafinga, Iringa.

Patel now joins the illustrious ranks of Kenyan drivers who have won the FIA African Rally Championship, including Shekhar Mehta, David Horsey, Jaspreet Singh Chatthe, Don Smith, Manvir Baryan, and Carl Tundo.

  • Iran accused of setting up a global terror network against Israel

Iran accused of setting up a global terror network against Israel

The Jewish state is under siege not just by its neighbors, but also by a number of other countries.

WELT has got intelligence material demonstrating the existence of a trail all the way to the Sahara.

There is a militia gathering against Israel, and its commanders are discussing horrifying plans over the phone.

Since the start of the Gaza war, Israel’s opponents have competed with threats and extermination fantasies – and some are actively engaging to enable Hamas.

Hezbollah, the Lebanese terrorist organization, launches missiles into Israel practically every day, and terrorists have attempted to penetrate the nation through the northern border.

Israeli villages near Lebanon’s border had to be evacuated.

According to reports, Syrian militants have stepped out to support the struggle against Israel.

Yemen’s Houthis have officially declared war on Israel, targeting southern Israel with long-range missiles and drones that were previously shot down by an American Navy ship.

Shiite militias attack American military bases in Iraq.

Algeria’s parliament voted unanimously in favor of war against Israel.

Even in the depths of Africa, militias celebrate attacks on the Jewish state and lend support to its adversaries.

All of these activities are being carried out by Iran.

The Shiite dictatorship has constructed a global network of militias that it supports with weapons, money, and training, and which it then employs in its terror strategy – against the West in general, and the United States in particular.

Tehran has been extending its network in recent years, as evidenced by intelligence reports and investigations by Western financial investigators, which WELT has had exclusive access to.

As a result, Iran no longer only supports Shiite and Sunni organizations, but also others that have nothing to do with Israel or hardline Islam.

The path leads to the Sahara. The Polisario Front, a socialist group centered in the Tindouf refugee camps in southern Algeria, is a great example of Tehran’s strategy.

The Algerian-backed independence movement sees itself as the real representative of the people of Western Sahara, the desert region that runs along the Atlantic coast.

Following a United Nations-sponsored cease-fire in 1991, the Polisario Front surrendered when Morocco had the upper hand.

The organization controls a tiny portion of Western Sahara and operates a camp in the Algerian province of Tindouf, near the Moroccan border, where approximately 150,000 Sahrawis live.

Morocco severed relations with Iran in 2018 due to its support for the Polisario Front.

Hezbollah, Iran’s most powerful force, “sent military representatives to the Polisario, provided weapons to the front, and trained them in urban warfare,” Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita told reporters at the time.

Tehran has sent surface-to-air missiles and drones to Polisario members in Western Sahara.

Hezbollah, which is aligned with Iran, has built up training camps in Algeria for Polisario fighters.

While officials of the Polisario Front and Hezbollah have refuted these charges, Morocco has stated that it possesses substantial intelligence on the Polisario Front and Hezbollah.

Last year, a Polisario Front representative alleged that Iran supplied them with “kamikaze” drones to deploy against Morocco via Algeria.

New intelligence reports, which WELT was able to see, back up Morocco’s claims.

Thus, the publication possesses recordings and transcripts of phone talks between Polisario representatives and an agent posing as a Hezbollah contact in Ivory Coast.

Mustafa Muhammad Lemine Al-Kitab is thus the Polisario’s liaison officer in Syria and is in charge of the Middle East.

The agent inquired about the situation. On October 23, almost two weeks after the attack on Israel in which Hamas slaughtered 1400 people.

The agent thus questioned about the issue with Lemine Al-Kitab in front of 140 individuals.

Hezbollah representative and the Polisario emissary discuss the possibilities of combined assaults against Israel with Hamas, Hezbollah, Algeria, and others during the conversation.

Lemine Al-Kitab offers to support the Polisario Front but emphasizes that its resources are not yet sufficient to attack the Israeli embassy in Morocco, for example.

In other conversations, he repeatedly asks for more support from Hezbollah and Iran.

Morocco marks the 48th anniversary of The Green March

Morocco’s King Mohammed VI led the country in commemorating the 48th anniversary of Green March Day on Monday.

The day remembers the courageous march of hundreds of thousands of Moroccans who answered to the late King Hassan II’s call for a mass march to stop Spanish colonization of Morocco’s southern territories.

In his speech, the King emphasized some of the country’s significant achievements during the last 48 years, such as modernizing programs aimed at serving inhabitants and making the greatest use of the country’s assets, particularly those in the Moroccan Sahara.

“The Atlantic coast is our gateway to Africa and the Americas, just as the Mediterranean is our gateway to Europe,” said King Mohammed VI.

  • Thousands demonstrate against terror attack on civilians in Es-Semara

Thousands demonstrate against terror attack on civilians in Es-Semara

Thousands of people took to the streets of Laayoune on Sunday to demonstrate against terror attacks on civilians in Es-Semara, the spiritual capital of the southern provinces of the Kingdom.

Participants in the march, organised by prominent locals and elected officials, angrily denounced the incident as “a terrorist act committed by enemies of the Kingdom’s territorial integrity.”

Tens of thousands of people from Laayoune City and the surrounding area demonstrated their support for their fellow residents in Es-Semara, by flying the national flag in the streets and major thoroughfares of the city in response to this cowardly attack.

They called for the international community to take responsibility “to put an end to the actions of the polisario, “a terrorist entity that detains our brothers and bombs our sons,” while also denouncing this “despicable attack that targeted innocent civilians in flagrant violation of international law” with slogans.

They emphasised that these attacks, which target civilians, “attest to the failure of the separatist thesis on diplomatic, military, and political levels” and “are aimed at undermining the security and stability prevailing in the Kingdom’s southern provinces”.

The signs said, “Like Daesh, the polisario is a bunch of terrorists” , “The explosions at Es-Semara threaten the peace and safety of civilians in flagrant violation of international law, international humanitarian law, and Security Council resolutions” .

The Laayoune March came to an end when the statement of the Saharawi tribes’ Chioukhs was read.

They expressed their outrage at this aggression, which they saw as a “vain attempt by opponents of the Kingdom of Morocco’s territorial integrity to disrupt and undermine the efforts being made at regional and international level, as well as at United Nations aegis, in support of Morocco’s sovereignty over the whole of its territory.

” The statement also expressed the tribes’ disapproval of international charters and conventions.

The statement stated that “the opponents have blatantly failed in their misguided attempts to discredit the significance and validity of the Moroccan autonomy plan for the Sahara under Moroccan sovereignty, which has the advantage of, among other things, ending an unnecessarily protracted artificial war over the Sahara”.

The signatories to the statement expressed their strong disapproval of this reckless attack in the face of this dangerous scenario and reminded the aggressor that Morocco, the security of its territories, and the security of its sons constitute a red line.

In this regard, they declared that the aspirations of the separatists could not lessen the tribes’ Chioukhs’ determination to protect the Sahara with all of their hearts and minds, remaining united in support of HM King Mohammed VI and applauding all prudent and foresighted actions taken to preserve the Kingdom’s territorial integrity.
